When we daydream about the house we hope to buy (or build) one day, we have lots of ideas….earthbag, hempcrete, underground house, tree house….something funky…something OFF the grid…something that suits us. I know we’ll want a huge garden, greenhouses for all the cacti, and a little breathing room from our neighbors. And I would LOVE to have one of these…

…to sit permanently in the yard and use it as sleepspace or playhouse…I don’t know why but I am obsessed with this idea at the moment…Goodness I’m a sucker for sea foam green AND VW buses…..*sigh*

what i’m doing… and i’m essentially talking to myself via the tumblr here….oh my…

so why half moon cobra? first of all, it’s hard as hell to name a blog…er, tumblr, whatever this is…i can’t imagine how indecisive i would be if i had a kid…naming a blog is hard enough!

i’ve recently started practicing bikram yoga…i quickly became addicted to it- so much that on days that i went it was all i could think about. did i drink enough water for yoga? did i eat too late? too early? am i going to pass out today? a million thoughts go through my head at once. it think too much. my mind won’t shut down when i go sleep at night. i can’t focus.

but not at bikram. i am focused when i’m in there. so much that as i look at my reflection i’m startled by the fierce look of focus written all over my face. i love it. i’ve been to a total of 7 classes, and i was starting to make a little progress i had to take a break b/c of work for the past two weeks. i hope to start back this weekend.

my two favorite poses are the half moon and the cobra. maybe it’s because they make me feel stronger. maybe because i can actually do them. regardless, as of right now, they’re my favorite.

so there you go. half moon cobra. this won’t always be about bikram, i’m also addicted to making jewelry, owls, old music, anything sea foam green & my husband.
